When helping patients turns deadly…

Fall festivals and pumpkin spice lattes are not enough to stop the gossip swirling around Mt. Harmony, Illinois’, highly respected audiologist, Dr. Elise Harte, since her recent involvement…with murder.

Elise is over the moon about a local lab’s new chip she’s convinced will help her patients more than anything to date. She’s looking forward to the lab’s roll-out party and seeing her friend and lab’s sales rep, Tierneigh Brown.

But the morning of the big “to-do,” Tierneigh calls Elise, desperate to talk… but not on the phone. Confused, Elise agrees to come to the lab early so they can meet, but her warm anticipation turns ice cold at the sight of Tierneigh’s body on the floor of the soundproof test chamber, speaker cords wrapped tightly around her legs.
